Aradigm Corporation, a specialty pharmaceutical company, focuses on developing and commercializing a portfolio of drugs delivered by inhalation for the treatment of severe respiratory diseases by pulmonologists. Aradigm Corporation has a collaboration agreement with CyDex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for the development and commercialization of combination products containing inhaled corticosteroids, anticholinergics, and beta-2 agonists for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. It also has collaborations with Lung Rx, Inc.; GlaxoSmithKline; and APT Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
